• How could you not love Jennifer Hudson after this:
“I have the height of a model, the breasts that people pay for and the lips that everybody wants, so why should I change?” the 26-year-old Oscar-winner asked at the Oct. 30 Avon Foundation Gala in NYC. “I wouldn’t change myself for anything or anybody. That will never happen.”

• Of course Al Sharpton is open to a meeting with Dog the Bounty Hunter. [People]
• For all of you Vanessa Simmons fans. [C&D]
• And they wonder why there are no black people in San Francisco. [EaterSF]
• Brandy’s trying to make it happen post-scandal. [CL]
Go Jennifer!
She should change for her health. She doesn’t need to starve herself or slave away at the gym. Just slim down for her own health. She shouldn’t be on the yo-yo train either because that’s not at all healthy. She has the right body attitude. Judging from her height and likely waist measurement though, she’s at increased risk for cardiovascular disease. We also know that people gain weight as they age even if their diet and exercise stay the same and it’s easier to lose now than later. She hasn’t had kids yet so throw on some baby weight and throw on middle age spread (which starts at 25-30 when lean muscle mass starts declining) and I’m sure she won’t have that same positive body attitude in 10-15 years.
Jennifer is looking hot!
(I’m going to play devil’s advocate, so bear with me…)
First, I love Jennifer, she’s close to my body type, so it’s good to see that she succeeds in Hollywood (now if I only had her talent…)
I’m glad to hear that Jennifer has a positive attitude about her body, but I hope that she can keep it while in Hollywood.
She’s only had the spotlight on her for about a year or so… I wonder what happens after 5 years… or after being typecast as the “fat black sassy” one just one too many times…
Anyway, she seems like she has a strong enough personality to deal with it…
