I’m slowly starting to figure it out. Cassie is only glued to Diddy’s hip when his baby-mama-ex-girlfriend, who told Essence and the world she was done with him, isn’t around. But does Miss Porter ever take a glance at event photos? Because, while I’m sure Diddy’s 38th bday party in Miami was lots of fun, he’s been doing a lot of partying with Cassie in NYC. But I’m sure he and Kim are just remaining friends for the kids’ sake.
By the way, the theme of his party was “Diddy: The World Is Yours.” In his circle, it’s pretty much true. [People]

No, Stereohyped has not been renamed “All Diddy, All the Time,” but when a big star completely screws up his high profile relationship, there’s a lot of news. This time, Miss Porter has released a statement.
“In ending this relationship, I made a decision that was in the best interest of myself, Sean and our family. I look forward to moving on with my life and my career, and wish him prosperity, health and happiness in life and in love. We will remain friends and committed parents to our children.”
Let’s decode, shall we? She hates his lying, cheating, disrespectful guts, but in the best interest of her children and her bank account, she’s keeping it civil. Now that Kim Porter’s supposedly moved out and moved on, Diddy can publicly womanize to his heart’s content, as he did at his Independence Day bash in the Hamptons Tuesday. Wait, didn’t he always publicly womanize?
“He hid behind security in the VIP room drinking Champagne,” notes one guest. The Kim Porter -free mogul did find two “amazingly attractive” girls in “teeny black dresses,” who were hustled into his caravan of three SUVs just before it sped off.
Two girls in teeny black dresses probably don’t make up for the fact that the only celebs who came to his party were the ones that work for him, but at least he didn’t go home empty-handed. And at least it wasn’t with Cassie.

The video for Kanye’s new song “Stronger” (spotted at The Rap Up), stars Cassie and was directed by Hype Williams, who, according to West, “almost bailed three times” because production was taking so long. And also probably because Kanye’s kind of crazy. Find the description of the way the video was made here. I’m not suprised that it all sounds a little extra for a couple minutes of film. Still, I don’t hate the video. You?

Jennifer Lopez might have run into the mother of her old flame at Monkey Bar in NYC last night, but I’m sure all were distracted by the diamonds in Lorraine Schwartz’s new Monkey Collection. Lindsay Lohan’s messing it up for the underaged stars who actually know how to comport themselves in a dancing and drinking establishment. Nineteen-year-old Rihanna and Cassie, 20, were denied entrance into Fabolous’s album release party Tuesday. The promoters cited the unofficial “Lohan’s Law,” as a reason for the rejection. Uh, how about actual law? Apparently, My Super Sweet 16-er Teyana Taylor also tried to get in and was denied, which she should have been. Anyway, whatever was happening in New York, I’m pretty sure Hilary Duff got into Hyde last weekend no problem. “Lohan’s Law” is selective.
