Karrine Steffans told Vibe magazine that her former boyfriend, Real Time host Bill Maher, loves to put down his girlfriends. Good thing for Karrine, there’s nothing anyone can use against her in an argument. Psych!!!
She says, “Bill wants someone he can put down in an argument, tell you how ghetto you are, how big your butt is, and that you’re an idiot. That’s why you never see him with a white girl or an intellectual. I might as well have been a Muslim woman with my head wrapped, walking 10 paces behind my man. [But] I couldn’t be ‘Bill Maher’s girlfriend’ any more - not when I’m Karrine Steffans . . . best-selling author.”
I don’t get it. Even after she became a best-selling author, he was still completely correct in calling her an idiot.

Sad how HIM DUMPING HER led to a mental breakdown. Further proof that she hates herself more than the rest of the world combined. I’m not really surprised. His choice in women (uneducated black and Latina strippers and such). He said some crap about how he’s not a chocoholic. He just likes women that are “real.” No comment on that bit.
I think Bill Maher is funny and intelligent. However, he strikes me as a man who wouldn’t get involved with a woman who is just as or more intelligent than he is (or think that he is). He is more attracted to women who would be in awe of him. Unfortunately, he likes black women instead of ditzy, bleached blonds like Hef’s girlfriends.
Hef’s “girlfriends” are in the same class as Karrine. The only differences are that Hef can afford exclusivity rights to their p—-es (while Karrine exercises the right to keep hers on the market) and that they don’t write about it.
…and I’m sure they don’t write about it because Hef either has that in the contract or they can’t write.
