Quote of the Week
“At least I know where he stands. And you know what? When he called them nappy-headed ho’s, I went, ‘Wow, he’s right!’ ”
That got the co-hosts and the audience shouting over each other, but Wayans said a person’s reaction to a statement like that all depends on his or her perspective. “Black people at home are laughing right now,” he said. “White people are going, ‘That’s not right!’ It’s all cultural.”
Never found that clown funny.
Don Imus is not a racist. The View may have viewers, but Wayans tells it like it is.
Have fun on December 3rd
: Tells it “like it is?” Only if you confuse bigoted opinion with actual fact.
Bruce = Ignoramus
Don Imus has invited Black sickle cell teens to the Imus Ranch in New Mexico every year to live with his family. He fully supported African-American Congressman Harold Ford Jr. for U.S. Senate, in the face of death threats. He was the FIRST white person that I heard say: “President Bush didn’t care about the Katrina victims because they were BLACK!” Imus has featured artists like Aaron Neville and The Blind Boys of Alabama on his show… and so on!
A hip hop response to politicians, hypocrisy and the mainstream media….

The fact that I do good things for black people does not give me the right to call young black women nappy headed hoes. The fact that I’m black doesn’t give me the right to do it nor does that fact give Damon Wayans this right. It does not allow me to spew the long list of racist, sexist, homophobic and islamophobic shit that this man has put out there for AGES.

I’m not going to lick his a– like some folks out there because he gives to charity. The fact that he makes money insulting loads of people leaves a bitter taste in my mouth even if a portion of that money goes towards helping sick children.
Damon Wayans is an idiot. “Nappy-headed hoes” is already an insult in the blk community. Just becuz some stupid idiots laugh at anything, doesn’t mean it should be used to make a joke (on young female students). Well I guess we shouldn’t be surprised… look at where he was raised and family background. Despite his success I don’t think the projects is the best environment to raise a child.
