Scary Spice’s lawyer Gloria Allred reveals the singer is desperate for 6-month-old Angel to have a father figure in her life — but the actor reportedly wants to play no part in her upbringing.
Allred says, “Mel’s hurting at the moment. Even though she’s invited Eddie to visit Angel, he’s refused. She’s tried every way she can think of to get him to visit his gorgeous baby. It’s just hurtful.
“Just because the two are no longer together, doesn’t mean the father should avoid being involved in the child’s life.”
She’s really trying to work the sympathy points for some extra Dancing With The Stars votes, isn’t she?

Melanie doesn’t really need the money. What she wants (at least what I hope she wants) is for Eddie to be involved in THEIR child’s life. Eddie’s behavior is just so n-ish. It shows you that money and age don’t come hand in hand with being a real man. Is he even seeing his other 5 children?
