I have two sisters who I love more than anything in the world, so it always warms my heart to see sisters having fun together, whether they’re fake ones in movies or television or actual tennis phenoms on the red carpet. This display of familial affection occurred yesterday in NYC at the launch of Venus Williams’s clothing line, EleVen. These chicks love clothing lines, don’t they? More after the jump.

Common is certainly the man about town these days. Taking tips from Kerry I see. I’m not complaining. He looks delicious 99% of the time.
Serena needs to work on her game.
Daria, Serena is injured. Her thumb is mostly healed from what I hear, but her knee is out. Yet, she’s still beating people on the court. Simply put: the girl can hit. Serena and Venus don’t broadcast their injuries like the other players — so the media just likes to say their “lazy.” Let us avoid doing the same. The girls, who don’t play a lot, still managed to take home two championships in 2007 — and Venus took the biggest prize of all in the entire tennis world — Wimbledon. Don’t drink the media’s kool aid, Daria.
Interesting. I hope Venus’ line looks a little more classy and less trendy than Serena’s….she sure looks like Yolanda Adams with the new hair cut. Love the entrepreneurship though.
Just follow these two and Federer so I wouldn’t really know about any of the other players. I thought Venus was the one with an injury of some sort. Never said they were lazy. Starting new ventures isn’t lazy. It’s doing something different, but it’s important to focus on your actual job. Serena’s stank attitude upon losing is precisely why I said she should be practicing. Even IF the girl was just lucky, saying so comes off as bad sportsmanship and it’s really just making excuses.
