Alicia Keys, who many people already suspect is a lesbian, actually thought that playing a lesbian in last year’s Smokin’ Aces was a refreshing change of pace from her girlish persona.
…The more I read, the more I got it. I was like, “Wow, there’s nothing people will expect from me less than this.” And that’s what I wanted when it came to the film. I don’t want to be the singing, piano-playing “girl role.” I want to be something that’s not who I am.
Clearly, Alicia subscribes to the Mariah Carey school of thought and doesn’t read what other people say about her.

Wow. Publicist much?
When will female celebs realize that as long as they’re not super butch, being a lesbian is actually good for one’s career? No one’s obligated to come out. You can do the Anderson Cooper thing, but consciously being closeted seems like it requires far too much energy.
Anne Heche’s career would beg to differ. LOL. How would it be good for a career?
Anne Heche’s career was on top when she was with Ellen. Now she’s with men again. Boooring. That woman is a mess and I feel for her. She’s been through some things…
The media likes to pay lots of attention to bisexual and gay women because these writers are generally men with fantasies to fulfill. Drew Barrymore, Angelina Jolie and Jenny McCarthy are always asked about their relationships with women in interviews though they are with men now. It fulfills a straight man fantasy which translates into publicity and maybe roles.
Zzzzz
She was sooo hot in this movie. To bad the movie’s ending made no sense.
