It's Just Me, Myself, And I

Before Beyonce’s female self-love anthem, “Me, Myself, and I,” there was De La Soul’s. Obviously not a female self-love anthem, but it has the same name. And it’s a classic. Lupe Fiasco probably has not heard this. It’s before his time.

I was just barely off similac when this track dropped. I was only 5. But, I did roll with this dude when I was about 10. He was 16. He was like my older brother (and all of his sisters, were like my annoying, yet loveable, older sisters). They kept me exposed to the goodness. Ya can’t mess with Prine Paul. I still fucks wit him from time to time. I listened to that new joint he made with Dan the Automator, for their side group (Handsome Boy Modeling School). Listening to this, makes me think of The Jungle Brothers.

I use to love this song. I think I was 9 when it came out. Even at that age remember thinking these guys look a little old for high school. LOL And yeah like Lauren said I’m sure Lupe’s scratching his head at this one.
