Happy Thanksgiving, Love Jones!

It’s day two of giving thanks on Rewound (yesterday I was thankful for Bad Boy Remixes), and I would like to express my thanks to the film Love Jones, which still gets me after all these years. Since YouTube didn’t have the clip from the movie I was looking for (when Darius performs “Brother to the Night” (”A Blues For Nina”)), To represent the movie, I settled on the Dionne Farris’ video for “Hopeless.” The song is on the movie’s soundtrack, which I also love.

This was the “BEST” Love Story with an urban feel. I loved the part when he just wanted to come in to “Talk” lol. Love and Basketball comes in a close 2nd but Love Jones I can still relate.
