The following I can’t imagine with anyone of any gender: Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey.

But really, does it matter? I guess we just have a need to know people’s secrets, but really, why does it matter what gender these people’s bedmates are?

I think gay men probably love Cillian, but I don’t think he sleeps with them. If I can’t imagine them liplocked with a member of the same sex, I don’t buy it.

Well, Jodie used to sleep with men and she doesn’t seem opposed to the idea in the future, so to me, that makes her bi. Elton seemed to like sleeping with women way back when. It isn’t about who you’re sleeping with now.

Rock Hudson, Liberace, etc had sex with women, too, to keep up appearances during a time when you could not be gay. I think they classified themselves as gay - as does everyone else. I know it comes as a shock to some, but you can be gay and have sex with the opposite gender at some point. It doesn’t make you bi, just capable.

As far as the list goes, many of the people mentioned on it are openly gay, so why even include them?

Kind of off topic. I just got my issue of Mother Jones in the mail today and there is a great article about gay by choice in there. Basically asking if sexual orientation is much more fluid than we ever thought (and science is finding evidence that may be) - can homosexuality still be a protected right? Anyway…just thought I’d drop that in here. I’ve only read the first page of the article. Carry on ppl.

Solitaire - Don’t get angry. It’s an interesting article regardless of your beliefs. I don’t think gay is a choice, but I do know of some women who are lesbian by choice. I’m sorry, but I do. I think the article is not saying that gay is a choice, it’s saying the for many people sexuality is fluid: some people can jump into and out of both worlds by CHOICE. It is not making a statement about people who are born gay I don’t think. So in that respect, it’s not bullshit science if there are people who the study actually speak to. For me…I like what I like, when I like it, but I do not consider myself bisexual. Very fluid indeed, but it’s always choice. I think that’s the article’s point.

According to another site, Eve says she has a girl crush on Dita von Teese and Angelina Jolie. That might mean she’s straight because I don’t think gay or bi people use the term “girl crush” and those two are the most common girl crushes of straight women. Straight white women at least.
