Nas might have been on a quest for publicity when he told a crowd at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC last Friday that the name of his new album, due in December, is Nigga. Or he might have actually been under that impression, although Def Jam sources say that neither the album title nor the actual album exist.

“There is no album release by Nas on the release schedule at this point,” a source close to Island Def Jam Music Group chairman Antonio “L.A.” Reid told FOXNews.com.

“And they would be unlikely to release an album with that title. How would that look at Wal-Mart?”

He’s always high, but i’m glad the “nigga” album won’t be seeing the light of day.

He wasn’t high. No body wants anypart of that shitstorm. I think I hear the term “creative differences” in his future.
