Have you ever wondered what happened to Jon B? You know, the white R&B singer who did what Robin Thicke did first, but not as well? He gave a scruffy performance at an Usher-hosted party at Las Vegas’ LAX nightclub over the weekend. Apparently he has been growing his hair, working on a new album, and developing a taste for microphones in his absence from the public eye.

Wow I saw a Jon B video on the weekend and was wondering about him. Clearly he hasnt been doing too well. That pic is kinda terrifying!
i cant hate on jon. i was listening to “they dont know” at work the other day and caught myself sangin with my eyes closed into my mouse. not too much music makes you feel that way anymore.
“Don’t talk” is my fav
GM Flash needs some Tend Skin and Babyface needs to go get his kids.
I can’t think of a single Jon B song off the top of my head.
I think Jon is going after Robin’s old look. Either way, I still *heart* him.
Y’all are on point with the humor today.
“developing a taste for microphones”
“GM Flash needs some Tend Skin”
Hahahahaha.
Jon B is very talented. If you know music, then you know who he is. He’s genuine. Not commercialized and shoved won your throat like other R&B artists. Wait till the new album drops….
Since when did Jon B get a street team?
No one said Jon B. wasn’t talented. He just suffered the same fate that alot of “blue eyed soul” artists suffered.* Robin Thicke went through the same thing when his first album came out.
*I don’t consider Justin Timberlake soul or R&B. Don’t have the time or energy to explain why.
I’m a Jon B stan, but to avoid sounding too crazy/defensive he really has a strong catalog of music but has had poor promotion. I was just listening to Stronger Everyday (his best album with the potential to go commercial/crossover IMO) and cursing Matthew Knowles for “business skills” (see also Kelly Rowland.) I won’t ever have to wonder about him suing me (I’m looking at you Prince.) Where’s Remy Shand?
WOW! he used to look hispanic to me, now he looks like “just another white boy”
